Villa De Rubeis Florit

Villa de Rubeis Florit is a noble 18th-century Friuli mansion with 13th-century origins, as evidenced by the cellar with a barrel vault, and the date 1273 engraved on one of the chimney crowns.

Many noble families have owned the mansion: the Conti de Rubeis, the Frangipane, the Cristofoli and other famous figures, such as the geographers Giovanni and Olinto Marinelli.

The 17th-century renovation is due to the Conti Frangipane, lords of Tarcento, while the magnificent Palladian floors, the fine stucco, the doors with painted mirrors and the stone chimneys, reveal a typically 18th-century style. It is one of the best-preserved structures in the territory and is a national monument.

Inside the villa, the main reception room offers an exceptional location for meetings and conferences also thanks to the excellent natural acoustics that lends itself to concerts without the need for amplification systems. On request is possible to use also the other room, that host a music school with instruments. This solution is suitable for music events or for little banquets or buffet.

Located in the centre of Tarcento, it can be reached easily by car.

HOW TO FIND US
By car
For those coming from the south: leave the A23 Udine nord exit and continue towards Tarvisio for 7km and then turn right for Tarcento, after 3 km you reach the centre and continue along Via Marinelli towards Coia. At the beginning of the hill to the left, you find the villa and on the right above the stairway is the car park.
For those coming from Austria; exit at Gemona and turn first to the right and then to the left towards Udine and after 8 km turn left for Tarcento
