Scuderie del Palazzo Coronini Cronberg

The building is part of the museum complex of Palazzo Coronini Cronberg, abundant in works of art and open to the public. The 16th-century mansion and its outbuildings (Stables, Villa Kugy, chapel and park) are located on the edge of the historic centre of Gorizia and have a remarkable historical, artistic, architectural and environmental value.

The stables, expanded in the 18th century in keeping with the original building (barn and hayloft), have a total area of 750 square meters. – of which 350 are available for exhibitions, conferences, conventions and cultural events in general – organized on two levels with an irregular rectangular plan.

Fully renovated in 2004, the building now houses the Reception and Bookshop on the ground floor, from which the large exhibition room, conference room and lecture room can be accessed.

All the spaces, as well as the Palazzo, are accessible to people with disabilities and are equipped with air conditioning and wifi connection. An audio-video system is also available and there is free public outdoor parking. It is a striking and historic space, surrounded by a large English style park of about 5 hectares.

Guests and conference participants are also offered the possibility of a guided tour of the museum.
