On the premises of the former Zucchi barracks, in the centre of Chiusaforte, you can visit a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Great War and the surrounding territory.
In this exhibition apart from the artillery material, the soldiers equipment and a section entirely dedicated to nutrition and life at the front (with a rich collection of vintage stoves), you can see copies (life-size) of friezes made of plasterand inscriptions present on the artefacts of the conflict in the mountains of the area.
This last part of the exhibition is unique because to date there is no other museum or private exhibition that exhibits copies of friezes and inscriptions in such quantities. These copies were made by the Association itself that curates the exhibition, thanks to the decades of experience gained in the field which has allowed the reproduction and saving of such important testimonies, fatally subjected to the weather for over 100 years that were slowly and irreversibly deteriorating.
