The name of the location “Salone degli Incanti” already promised that it would be a wonderful day!
The exhibition “I LOVE LEGO”, taking place right here, on the shores facing the sea, in the building that is also home to the Aquarium, is open to visitors until 30 June.

The coloured bricks, which create a skyscraper or a castle, and are then used to construct a space station or go back in time to pirate ships or wartime troops, offer timeless charm… Who has not dreamed, as a child, of successfully building one of these constructions?

The exhibition also offers challenges “Can you find Mr. Banana?” “Can you see the penguin?” … I can assure you that it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, where perhaps children fare better than adults.
After visiting the exhibition, I allowed myself a walk to beautiful Piazza Unità and then around the city centre as far as the Ponte Rosso area to visit the food markets with specialities from all places.

Back at the sea, I said my rightful farewells to the Molo Audace and then stopped at the San Giusto Marina, a large space for pleasure boats with an adjacent restaurant.Do you have any idea what it means to have lunch at a table that seems to be suspended over the water, with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste?

A delicious dish of fried breaded pilchards, a few glasses of Malvasia Istriana and a breeze that ruffles your hair: you realise that maybe you had imagined paradise like this.
