Vigna Traverso

Vigna Traverso is based in the Colli Orientali of Friuli, an area particularly suitable for the production of wines of great value. The company is a few kilometres from Cividale, a place dominated by nature, among chestnut woods, oaks and wild cherry trees, where roe deer, foxes, badgers and squirrels live undisturbed. The management is taken care of directly by the family, with enthusiasm and dedication. The property personally deals with all vinification phases; adopting cutting-edge methodologies always respecting the environment and traditions. The goal is to achieve the production of high-level wines that can truly represent the territory. The results obtained are also demonstrated by numerous awards obtained in national and international competitions. On the twenty-two hectares of the company, fifty-year-old vineyards retain the historical varieties of the territory. Vine production is capped to improve quality of the wine. Vigna Traverso's ample wine range includes white, red, sparkling and sweet wines. For those who are curious about their production methods or wish to taste their wines alongside some local food specialty products, visits are available by appointment. You can also visit the newly built wine cellar which, despite dominating the vineyard, blends perfectly into the landscape.
