Chardonnay is one of the most famous white grape varieties in the world, born in Burgundy and famous for its presence in Champagne. In Friuli Venezia Giulia it has a straw-yellow colour with aromas of apple, acacia flowers and fresh bread crust. On the palate, it is dry, full and harmonious, with a well-balanced acidity. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with light starters, soups and egg or seafood dishes.
