Schioppettino di Prepotto is a fine red wine produced in the Judrio Valley from the Ribolla Nera grape, which explodes on the palate with its thin, taut skin. "Schiopettare" means "to burst", the perfect description for this variety. Cultivated in the Colli Orientali wine district and in Slovenia, it has found in the hills and foothills of the Municipality of Prepotto the territory where it best expresses its characteristics. It is a wine of rare clarity, dry, with unobtrusive tannins and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
