Friulian Salami

Friulian Salami is the king of cured meats in Friuli Venezia Giulia, appreciated for its softness and authentic flavour. Made from the best parts of the pig, it has a maximum fat content of 20%, which guarantees a perfectly balanced mixture. It is also available in a smoked version and can be enjoyed both raw or cooked, as in the famous "salami in vinegar" recipe. Perfect for hors d'oeuvres and snacks, it pairs beautifully with local red wines such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
