Don’t miss the typical dish of the municipality of Clauzetto in Val Cosa, north of Spilimbergo, called la balote (“ball” in Friuli language).

A recipe proposed as one of the unique forms to blend and enhance the flavours of polenta, cheese and mushrooms.

The main ingredient is the salty cheese typical of the area, asìno, in its soft version, to which is added frant cheese and Montasio, typical of the entire Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
