La torre del falco, holiday farm is 1 km far from San Vito al Tagliamento town. The restaurant is run by the home family, proposing seasonal specialities made out of typical food products (cheese, smoked ricotta, pitina [i.e. sausage made of mountain game, goat or sheep meat]) and inspired by local cookery, like homemade pasta or gnocchetti, tasty meat dishes as well as sweets and cakes from old-tradition recipe books.
And all that is perfectly combined with the winery’s heritage.
Four large, old-style furnished rooms are a feature of our holiday farm.
In each of them you can immerse yourself in a quiet atmosphere made of things, colour shades and scents that reflect the local country tradition.
All rooms are supplied with WC and conditioned air.
The holiday farm is located in a small country village on the right side of Tagliamento river, between the centres of San Vito al Tagliamento and Casarsa della Delizia, history traces are rich and clear in Prodolone village: a Roman road, so called "dei carradori" or "la romana" along which the ruins of some settlements and a villa have been found. Since the 14th century the castle has been the village centre, and the residence of the Prodolone’s lords as well. On the outskirts of Prodolone you can find the Church consecrated to Madonna delle Grazie (Our Lady of Grace) and the parish church of St. Martin, dating back to 1503.
In San Vito al Tagliamento (3 Km far) there are the Church of Santa Maria dei Battuti and the Church of San Lorenzo, keeping the famous fresco works by A. Bellunello.
