Bulfon, farmhose residence in Valeriano, a suburb of Pinzano al Tagliamento, is surrounded by green countryside. It is an ideal place to spend holidays in peace and serenity, away from the city’s noise but just a short walk to San Daniele and Spilimbergo. The guests can use the swimming pool and the relax room.
The winery is situated at the foot of the mountains in the province of Pordenone. It lies halfway between the art-rich mediaeval town of Spilimbergo, home of the noted mosaic school, and the hill town of San Daniele del Friuli, where the renowned prosciutto crudo, or air-cured ham, is made. The cellar is at Valeriano, near Pinzano al Tagliamento, a small town with a number of major art treasures. The parish church of Santo Stefano holds the first fresco signed and dated by Giovanni Antonio de’ Sacchis, called Il Pordenone. In the nearby oratory of Santa Maria dei Battuti, formerly the home of an ancient confraternity, there are several paintings, including the fourteenth-century Last Supper by a local artist which inspired the Bulfon label, and a celebrated sixteenth-century Nativity by Il Pordenone.
