SUNNY PET is a beach equipped for the enjoyment of dogs and their companions.
It is located in
Lignano Sabbiadoro in the area between the beach office 19 and the beach office 18. The fully fenced area is divided into: service area, agility area, common shaded areas, umbrella zone.
- Service area: hosts two main wooden buildings. The first consists of an office - reception, a storage room, and a room for veterinary first aid – grooming. The second building has two changing cabins, one of which is adequately sized for disabled guests. Adjacent to the buildings are two drinking troughs and two showers for dogs, also supplied with water heated by thermal solar panels integrated into the roof of one of the buildings.
- Agility area: is completely enclosed by a wooden fence and low underground flower beds. Within the agility area, there are competitions, instructive exhibitions, and other dog demonstration activities. Next to the agility area, there are three shading sails where mini-club activities, entertainment, meetings, and events take place.
- Umbrella zone: consists of 27 stations. Each station includes 1 umbrella with 2 sunbeds and 1 sunbed for the dog. 12 of these stations are individually and separately fenced.
From Monday to Saturday at scheduled times, guests can count on the presence of a
contracted veterinarian available for the animals, who can also be reached on call. At the entrance of the facility, there are lockable safety deposit boxes for the guests' use. The entire area is equipped with small ecological islands made up of multicolored containers for recycling and for the disposal of dog waste. Dispensers containing bags for removing your dog's waste are located throughout the structure. The entire facility is connected by paved paths and suitable walkways that allow access to the sea shore and the reserved water area in front, where dogs are welcome even in the water. Practical life jackets are available for beginners.
