Nestled in the woods, simple trail that runs parallel to the Rio Marchiat and leads to the beautiful Twin Falls in Faedis.
In Val Torre from the municipality of Faedis, continue toward Canebola (Via Ruobia). From the road, take the path near the wooden sign indicating Twin Waterfalls. It keeps to the left and continues parallel to the stream; appreciable from several points where you can see the beauty of the natural setting of the deciduous forest.
Continue further until you find another sign and then climb back up to the banks of the river. At this point you should be careful where you walk, as the splashing water and small rivulets that run into the river can make the path very slippery.
You then reach the amphitheater-like basin from where you can see the two imposing Waterfalls, called Twin Falls because of their similar location and characteristics, which form this unique landscape. Colors alternate from the bright green of moss and forest to the orange and brown foliage of the surrounding trees in autumn.
Return along the same route.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
It is suggested to park the car along the main road, near rest areas (place them on the left going up from Canal di Grivò).
It is recommended to be careful along the route, because the ground given the proximity to the river is often very slippery.
Normal hiking equipment.
Hiking boots and snowshoes are suggested to help with the ascent and descent along the trail.
