The "Ta Lipa Pot" trail (in Resian "the beautiful road") with its starting and ending point in the hamlet of Stolvizza di Resia, represents a unique opportunity to get in touch with the environment, culture, and history of Val Resia.
A naturalistic route that winds along the paths around the village, in an uncontaminated area of unparalleled tranquility. The roads touch places rich in history and mountain culture, then pass through spaces of rare beauty and richness of traditions.
This route is excellent both for those who want to spend a day outdoors, stopping to admire every small view while enjoying a sandwich on the banks of the stream, and for those who want a short but varied and very rewarding itinerary.
The absence of technical difficulties and the contained elevation gain make this trail suitable for everyone with a minimum walking habit.
To fully experience the uniqueness of Val Resia, it is strongly recommended to visit the two museums in Stolvizza:

The starting point of the route is on via Pustigost, near the bar-trattoria "All'arrivo" in the hamlet of Stolvizza di Resia.
The path begins by descending a steep section that leads to the stream below where, proceeding with some care among the rocks and gravel, you reach the first highlight of the route: the Potok waterfall.
Leaving the waterfall behind, continue on the right bank entering a magnificent pine forest typical of Val Resia. About halfway through the wooded stretch, you reach a large meadow where "La Casa Resiana" stands, an educational and naturalistic centre obtained by restoring old typical buildings.
Continuing straight ahead you cross a stream and, after a few dozen meters, a large meadow opens to the left. Continue for a few hundred meters until you reach a junction where you turn left along a descent until you find the asphalt road and, a short distance away, the bar and campsite "Al Ranch".
Once you reach the asphalt road, continue along it keeping to the right and entering the hamlet of Zamlin. Walk through the whole hamlet (a few hundred meters) until you reach a large meadow where, following the signs, you turn left and begin to climb again towards Stolvizza.
The ascent is quite steep but shaded in the woods. Once finished, continue straight until you find another large meadow (on the right side) and further on a stable.
Continuing always straight you reach the asphalt road, which you follow for a few hundred meters. Paying attention on the right, leave the road to cover the last stretch of the Ta Lipa Pot that leads to Stolvizza.
