The "Ta Lipa Pot" trail (in Resian, "the beautiful road"), with its starting and ending point in the hamlet of Stolvizza di Resia, offers a unique opportunity to connect with the environment, culture, and history of the Resia Valley.

This nature trail runs along paths around the village, in an untouched area of unparalleled tranquility. The roads pass through places rich in history and mountain culture and then traverse spaces of rare beauty and rich traditions.

This path is excellent both for those who want to spend a day outdoors, stopping to admire every little view and enjoying a sandwich by the stream, and for those looking for a short but varied and very rewarding route.

The lack of technical difficulties and the contained elevation make this trail suitable for all people with a minimum habit of walking.

    Author’s recommendation

To fully experience the uniqueness of the Resia Valley, it is highly recommended to visit the two museums in Stolvizza:

Ethnographic Museum of the People of Val Resia: This museum offers an insightful look into the traditional lifestyle, customs, and culture of the Resian people. It showcases a variety of artifacts, tools, and exhibits that highlight the rich cultural heritage of the valley.

Arrotino Museum: This museum is dedicated to the traditional craft of knife sharpening, an important trade in the Resia Valley. It features historical tools, machines, and displays that illustrate the evolution of this craft over time.

Additionally, visitors are encouraged to enjoy some typical dishes in one of the local eateries in Stolvizza or the nearby hamlets. The local cuisine offers a taste of the valley's culinary traditions, with dishes made from locally sourced ingredients and recipes passed down through generations.
