The "Ta Lipa Pot" trail (in Resian "the beautiful road") with the start and finish point in the hamlet of Stolvizza in Resia, is a unique opportunity to connect with the environment, culture, and history of Val Resia.
A naturalistic route that winds along paths around the village, in a pristine area of unparalleled tranquility. The paths touch places rich in mountain history and culture, then cross spaces of rare beauty and richness of traditions.
This route is excellent both for those who want to spend a day outdoors, stopping to admire every little view enjoying a sandwich by the stream, and for those looking for a short but varied and very rewarding itinerary.
The absence of technical difficulties and the contained elevation gain make this trail suitable for all people with a minimum habit of walking.

The starting point of the route is the large parking lot at the Stolvizza Knife Grinder Museum. From here, follow the paved road back until you reach the bar-trattoria "All'arrivo," where you turn right along via Pustigost and a few meters later, you will see on the left the beginning of the Ta Lipa Pot trail.
Descend a steep section that leads to the stream below where, carefully navigating among rocks and gravel, you reach the first highlight of the route: the Potok waterfall.
Leaving the waterfall behind, continue on the right bank entering a magnificent pine forest typical of Val Resia. About halfway through the wooded section, you reach a large meadow where "La Casa Resiana" stands, an educational-naturalistic center created by renovating old typical buildings.
Continuing straight, you cross a stream and, after a few dozen meters, a large meadow opens on the left side. Continue for a few hundred more meters until you reach a crossroads where you turn left to find the paved road and, a short distance away, the "Al Ranch" bar and campsite.
Proceed on asphalt for a short distance, crossing the bridge over the Resia stream and turning left towards the Braida locality. At this point, keep left, taking a short descent that leads almost to the streambed and, after a few dozen meters, crosses a small watercourse near which there is a natural pond.
The trail continues between wooded sections and more open areas, crossing small streams thanks to footbridges. There is a point where caution is needed near a section heavily eroded by the Resia stream. To overcome this section, the path goes uphill, then with a short, slightly exposed traverse, immediately followed by a steep switchback descent (pay special attention if wet).
After a couple of kilometers, you reach a large bridge that allows crossing the Resia stream and, following the trail that turns right, you start climbing firmly into the woods. At the end of the ascent, turn right again to descend into a beautiful meadow where some historic huts perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape stand. Following the signs, pass the buildings and begin the steepest section of the route with about 100m of elevation gain leading to the meadows and garlic fields of nearby Stolvizza.
Continue for a few hundred meters in this evocative environment until you reach the paved road that leaves Stolvizza heading towards Malga Coot. At the junction, turn left, climb a short steep ramp and reach the parking lot at the Knife Grinder Museum, concluding the route.
