Seven benches placed in panoramic positions, among vineyards and cross-border views. A path that sends walkers through the village of Oslavia, to admire its landscape and to discover the history and future of this handkerchief of Collio, which is often excluded from classic visiting routes.
A path elaborated by the winemakers of theRibolla Producers Association of Oslavia so that, from a simple "sitting," a narrative of what they represent and their history can be developed, inviting all of us to be part of it. Seven are the benches you will find along the path, from where you can trespass with your gaze between Italy and Slovenia and discover the territory crossed thanks to the qr-codes placed at each bench.
WHY WALK IT?
Because it "speaks" of love for one's homeland and is an admirable example of the reconstruction of a small town that has been able to reborn from scratch.
This is Oslavia first of all, even before being the land of ORANGE WINE, the macerated wines of orange color. ORANGE, like the benches and like the symbol of the trail, the grape on a white background, which you will find along the route. He will guide you.

Sections on dirt road and paved road with little traffic.
Possible two stretches with high grass in spring and summer, recommended to opt for village streets. The section leading to the last bench may be bumpy at some points on the ascent. The route is not looped but proceeds in zigzags; the last bench is at the outskirts of San Floriano del Collio.
It is suggested that the walk be combined with a visit to the Oslavia Military Memorial, which is open for tours.
