A trail that treads the line between nature and history, first crossing the Pian delle Farcadizze with its meadows and groves and then climbing the ridge of Mount Topli Uorch. The location of the Topli Uorch huts (now known universally as "Malghe di Porzus") became infamous for the massacre among partisan troops in 1945. The huts later became a national monument to commemorate this tragic event (explanatory panels on site). But nature is also noteworthy in this area, the forest covering the ridge is lush and the vegetational environments very varied. Geologically, alternating outcrops of flysch and carbonate beds can be observed.
