Lis Fornas road path

From theSottrivea Picnic Area located by the Meduna riverbed (reachable from Tramonti di Sopra by following the relevant road signs), you take to the entrance of the trail, identifiable by the presence of an explanatory panel and a pedestrian entrance gate. Climbing between hairpin bends, you reach the plateau where the Borgo Titol farm stands, which you cross to resume the path to a viewpoint over the Meduna stream. You climb up through a wood of ash trees and, crossing another pedestrian gate, enter an artificial spruce forest to the Casolari di Curs. Descending successively with two switchbacks you reach a meadow that leads to the paved road. Follow it to the left passing the Pradiél hamlet and, after a short descent, you reach the bridge where there is a sign to reach the Pradiél Mill below and not far away. Returning to the bridge, take the paved road again to the left until reaching, after an uphill stretch, the entrance to the path (signs), initially marked by a flight of log steps. The path enters the woods of ash and beech trees, continues to a house whose courtyard is crossed (pedestrian gates) and climbs again to another house(Casa Abis) that welcomes us with its characteristic courtyard and portal. Past the house, the path tends to descend with a wide mule track until it reaches the paved road, which we follow to the left, heading toward the village of Tramonti di Sopra. Signs placed on the forks direct the route to the Picnic Area, the starting point.
