Easy hike from Rifugio Pussa to the scenic Casera Senons hut, via the pleasant service road to the hut.
The hike begins just before Rifugio Pussa, at the large crossroads panel at the base of Casera Pussa. Here we take in the direction of Senons the CAI path 393, and start walking along the long forest service road of the casera.
We ascend, with never excessive gradient, along the beautiful forest road, which in places is a scenic paved track protected by the green beech forest.
The forest road follows the left flank of the Senons Valley, occasionally making narrow hairpin bends, with the forest cover never leaving room for the view... at least until an altitude of 1,300 meters, where the view opens onto the practical basin dominated by the malga- of which, for now, we can only see the elongated building of the stables-and surrounded by a host of spectacular peaks: Cima di Bortoluth, San Francesco, Monte Caserine Alta.
We continue along the road until, on our left, Casera Senons (1323 m) comes into view.
We return via the same forest road.
