From Pian de Cea, 914 m, we descend to the concrete ford that closes the Grave da Giere.
At this point we have two options: walk along the Grave on the right side or on the left side. In any case, given the variability of the environment-which changes appearance after each rainy season-it is better to choose one of the two banks and, standing on the gravels, walk that one. In any case, there are no cairns or stable markers.
When we come to see, on the left, the pylon of a meteorological survey point, we start bending to the left to climb the low "embankment," where we find the trace of an old cartroad. We thus arrive at the base of Casera Podestine (1024 m, can be reached in a few steps), a well-recovered and partly open structure.
For the return, we follow the outward route.
