GO! 2025 - Path to Discover the Isonzo River

The minimum age for children is 14 years old.

Day 1: Arrival in Nova Gorica (about 20 km)

Individual arrival in Nova Gorica, located on the border with Italy. This unique city, built after World War II, has evolved into a vibrant place influenced by various cultures. Transfer by train to Kanal, the starting point for a bike ride along the Soča River Valley, a paradise for canoeing, kayaking, and adventure sports. Cycling along the river through mountain landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque villages, you reach Nova Gorica.

Day 2: Gorizia – Gradisca d'Isonzo – Salcano Bridge (about 45 km)

Discover the Isonzo River flowing through Italy. Starting towards San Peter at the end of the Vipava Valley near Gorizia, continue to Gabria, cross the border, and reach Sagrado, a charming town by the Isonzo River at the foot of Mount San Michele. Pass through Gradisca, known for its medieval architecture, and cross the Salcano Bridge to arrive in Gorizia. A small, pleasant city with a rich Austro-Hungarian past and today a European Capital of Culture alongside Nova Gorica.

Day 3: Gorizia – Individual Departure

Individual departure from Gorizia or the possibility of extending your stay.
