Portopiccolo: a luxury oasis for a particular day

If you want to treat yourself and spend a day like a vip immersing yourself in elegance, this is the right place for you. Portopiccolo is a seaside village created in 2014 in a former limestone quarry of Sistiana, inside the Natural Reserve of the Cliffs of Duino. It is also accessible by sea and is a model of environmental redevelopment, which the region can be proud of. In fact, no CO₂ is produced here, nor combustion gas and the air conditioning and sanitary water production are carried out thanks to a geothermal heat pump system.
Arriving on foot it is a short walk from the bay of Sistiana, I begin to see the first houses of the village that surround the marina, and immediately my gaze falls on the beautiful yachts moored there. I am immersed in the unique atmosphere that surrounds me as I enter this "five-star" dimension. After taking a look at the shops and restaurants, the walk takes me to the Beach club where I rent a sunbed and umbrella for my day of relaxation, which includes a dip in the three infinity pools overlooking the Adriatic Sea and an aperitif in perfect high-class style. Dozy from the heat, a thousand memories come to mind, I start to remember my trips to Montecarlo, on the French Riviera, my recent business trips to Portofino and Portovenere, and many other ports! But each one is special and characteristic, with its own soul and Portopiccolo this new seductive location is no exception, on the contrary, I have been able to observe its transformation over the years, and I realise that it could become my second home.
