Are you a film enthusiast? Then this is the thing for you! Trieste is increasingly being chosen by film producers thanks in part to the good work of the FVG Film Commission.
This is where the “Strolls on the set” outdoors by day is born, starting from an idea from the ??the Casa del Cinema association (the headquarters of which was recently named after Annamaria Percavassi). These walks bring enthusiasts to discover the curious details of the films made in Trieste and the surrounding area.

This summer there are still three appointments to discover – at different times of the day – the locations, incredible and secret views and backdrops of the most popular fiction films shot here: the most recent being The red door.
And it is The Red Door, in which Trieste co-stars, that are dedicated to these summer events: on 8, 28 July and 25 August you can go with journalist Elisa Grando or with Nicola Falcinella on a virtual tour of the various places where the television series was filmed. There, thanks to a gear viewer, you can see some scenes from the series in the buildings or places where they were shot and normally not accessible to the public, such as the Ursus floating crane.
During the ShorTs festival (which I mentioned in an earlier post) there will be three appointments: in addition to the morning of Saturday 8 July, there will be two additional outdoor nocturnal tours to discover Trieste by night.
