Hike in Collio to the Rocca del Monte Quarin

This will be the route of the culinary hike: starting from the parking lot at the Subida riding stables in Cormons, with a stop at one of their military bunkers, then taking the trail that leads to the Sirk vinegar cellar, through the vineyards, until reaching a paved section overlooking the Preval Valley. We will continue climbing through woods and vineyards toward Monte Quarin, passing by the King’s Observatory to reach the castle park and the ruins of the section known as La Rocca (274 m), where you can enjoy an unparalleled view. From there, you’ll descend to the Church of the Blessed Virgin of Succour, which overlooks the center of Cormons, and via an alternative route through a wooded area, you’ll return to the starting point. From there, a short drive will take you to the “Angolo del Norcino” farmhouse, nestled among the vineyards of Cormons, where lunch is included.
At the farm, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase cured meats and other products they make.
