Formed in 2023 through the artistic collaboration of two young musicians who graduated from the Padua Conservatory, Duo Palomar pursues a chamber music path rooted in musical affinity and a shared expressive vision, having honed their skills in the Luigi Bon Foundation’s chamber music courses.
The program pairs three masterpieces from the 19th- and 20th-century chamber music repertoire. It opens with Schubert’s exquisite themes, followed by Prokofiev’s Sonata—a work that blends neoclassical elegance, rhythmic brilliance, and lyrical melody within a highly virtuosic composition. The concert concludes with Poulenc’s Sonata, one of the most beloved 20th-century works for flute, in which irony, melancholy, and French elegance merge in perfect stylistic balance.
A social aperitif will follow the performance.
