La Cantata Trauermusik (Musica funebre) BWV 198, fu composta da Bach in memoria della principessa Christiane Eberhardine di Sassonia, morta nel 1727 dopo aver rinunciato al trono cattolico di Polonia per restare fedele al protestantesimo. Un grande affresco che si articola lungo sonorità molto particolari in virtù dell’organico strumentale che contempla la dolcezza dei flauti e degli oboi d’amore, l’espressività delle viole da gamba e il colore inconfondibile dei liuti.
Maestro concertatore sarà Alberto Busettini che ha ideato molti progetti in qualità di direttore artistico per il Coro del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
