The White Stork, the Waldrapp, and the Konik horses are the main species hosted at the Oasi dei Cicogne, a natural paradise serving endangered species.
The territory of the oasis is a gentle and verdant environment, dotted with small towns and crisscrossed by countless roads and pathways. Between the hills, small areas untouched for millennia or reclaimed by nature are home to a rich flora and fauna, in an environment of wild yet serene charm, rarely seen. In this highly evocative natural setting, attracting school groups, families, and nature enthusiasts, two important projects are underway: the first involving the reintroduction of the White Stork to develop the migratory route from northern Italy to sub-Saharan Africa, and the second for the conservation of the Waldrapp, now in a serious phase of extinction.
