Dolegna del Collio

Dolegna del Collio, whose name derives from the Slovene word "dolènji" (that means "situated in the lower part "), is a little town with mainly agricultural activities, surrounded by the course of the torrent Judrio torrent in the south-western side, and by the Slovene border at north-east.

Its sweet inclines are an ideal ground for the grapewine cultivations and the wide woods allow people to enter in contact with the rich local flora.

Dolegna del Collio is located on "Wine and cherries Road", that from Gorizia crosses Collio's vineyards till Dolegna del Collio.
