The small village of Andreis, rising at the foothills of Alpi Carniche mountain chain, is characterized by well-preserved buildings.

Andreis is the ideal starting point for excursions and walks and it is part of the Nature Reserve of friulian Dolomites.

From the street that goes from Barcis to Andreis you could admire the ravine of Molassa torrent, that is part of "Forra del Cellina" Nature Reserve.
