The municipal cemetery of San Vito, in Udine, hosts an ossuary including the remains of 832 Austro-Hungarian soldiers. It is a large cube in stone surmounted by a 2m high cross in white stone. A bilingual plaque, in German and Italian, simply recalls that Austro-Hungarian soldiers were buried here. The ossuary can be found at the end of the graveyard, on the north side of the perimeter wall, a few metres on the right from the main avenue.
