From Udine: take exit Carnia - Tolmezzo on Highway A23. Take road SS52 towards Tolmezzo and continue on road SS52bis towards Arta Terme-Paluzza up to the Pass of Monte Croce Carnico (10 kilometres from Timau, the last village before the border).
From Austria: take Plockenpass Strasse (road No. 110) from the village of Kötschach - Mauthen and continue to the border with Italy (around 12 kilometres).
