Take exit Udine nord (north) from Highway A23. Follow directions for Cividale del Friuli and continue along road SS54 until the village of Ponte San Quirino (around 27 km). Turn right and take Provincial Road SP45 towards Grimacco - Drenchia and then continue until Solarie Pass (around 20 km), a former post on the border with Slovenia.
