Exit at Villesse - Gorizia on Highway A4. Drive along the freeway towards Gorizia and take the exit to the town centre before the former border with Slovenia. On the roundabout, take Via Trieste and, after250 metres, make a right to Via Terza Armata, continuing straight ahead and following directions for the former border post of Casa Rossa. Once you enter Slovenia, continue along road 444 Vipavska Cesta, make a right after 130 metres and take the roundabout on the right; here, take the second road, Vojkova Cesta (No. 103) towards Nova Gorica. Keep yourself on this circular road bypassing the town centre and head to the village of Solkan. Before you leave the former, make a left at a rock quarry (visible on the right), take road 402 towards Hum - Gonjače, crossing a bridge over the Isonzo River after a few metres. Continue for 11 kilometres up to Gonjače and then take road 602 on the right to the intersection indicating Pod Sabotin (2 kilometres). Drive along a dirt road to the cabin, which is reached after 7 kilometres.
