From Highway A4, take the exit Gorizia-Villesse. Drive along the freeway towards Gorizia until the exit Romans d'Isonzo, then turn left to Road SS351 to Sagrado. From here, drive along Via Gabriele d'Annunzio and follow directions for San Martino del Carso on provincial Road SP9. Past the village, continue along Via Zona Sacra until you reach the esplanade of Mt. San Michele Museum.
To San Martino del Carso:
From the Museum esplanade, go back to Via Zona Sacra towards San Martino del Carso
To the Battle Area:
From San Martino del Carso, take provincial Road SP9 to Sagrado. After about 1.5 kilometres, leave your car at the junction for Doberdò del Lago
