Società Triestina della Vela is located in
Trieste on the Istrian Wharf, a few steps away from Piazza Unità. The sports activities organised by Società Triestina della Vela includes a sailing school for students, athletes and regattas. The introductory sailing courses take place in summer from the second week of June to the second week of August on a weekly basis. The Club provides the following boats to the students of the sailing school: Optimist, Tyca catamarans, FIV 555 and Equipe. There are many races organized by Società Triestina della Vela both for cruisers and for offshore sailing, such as the Insiel Trophy for offshore sailing boats.
