The mouth of the Stella River is an area protected by inestimable beauty that can only be visited by water.
There are many dedicated excursions departing from Lignano Sabbiadoro such as motorboat excursions with a stop in the typical village of casoni where it is still possible to admire the typical fishermen's huts built in marsh reeds, boat tours dedicated to birdwatching, excursions in pontoon boat carrying canoe or sup to paddle through the canals of the Reserve.
The tour on the pirate ship is dedicated to the little ones: the children dressed up with bandana, blindfold and smitirra disembark in one of the typical "casoni" of fishermen in search of treasure!
TIPP: Unmissable stop is the stilt house of the Bilancia di Bepi: a traditional fishing net that is immersed in the waters of the River by capturing the local fish in its pot which is then cooked on the spot by the fisherman in his Food Truck.
