Golf Senza Confini Tarvisio, at 800 metres above sea level, offers a characteristic mountain trail with vast natural fairways on the plateau. Originally designed by Giacomo Cabrini in 1992 and expanded in 2003 to 18 holes by the Canadian architect Graham Cooke who dealt with the restyling, the course has two separate entities. The first 9 holes are spread across ups and downs of varying levels of difficulty, amidst the splendid
Tarvisio forest, while the second 9 holes, that include some sheets of water, extend across a mostly flat terrain, with plenty of greens sometimes hidden between fir trees and beech trees, often protected by bunkers or, even more unusually, by steep depressions that make the approach to the green even more difficult, even for experts.
Golf Senza Confini Tarvisio is enclosed in the splendid landscape of the imposing rocky peaks of the Julian Alps, and the eye falls in particular on the rocky Monte Mangart (2,677m). The Club is an 18 hole golf course full of interesting technical details, framed by delightful surroundings that turns each game into an unforgettable experience. There is a stunning 360° view of the entire valley from the green at the 4th hole.
At the centre of the course is the original club house, whose furnishings are perfectly in keeping with the mountain style. It is home to the pro-shop and the renowned
Restaurant Ai Confini, which offers its guests thoughtful and refined cooking with a large, panoramic terrace that looks out over the course and the surrounding mountains.
