One of the Festival’s most iconic events is back: the FEFFnic, a Japanese-style outdoor picnic. For the occasion, SHI’S restaurant is offering a special FEFF edition menu inspired by the tradition of the bento, the classic Japanese lunchbox. Bentos can be picked up in the garden upon reservation, and a children’s version is also available.
To complete the gastronomic experience, your picnic will also include artisanal gelato from Gelateria Timballo – Fiordilatte, a top-quality local product. Foresta, a female Italian-Brazilian singer-songwriter with an elegantly jazzy touch, will provide the soundtrack for this relaxing oasis. As your selector, she will transport you to her personal “riverside spot,” lulling you with the exotic rhythms and warm sounds found among her record collection, and vibes to dance to in complete freedom.

It is possible to purchase the bento in advance, with no booking fees, at the Cinema Visionario box office (from 10 April) and at the Teatro Nuovo bookshop (from 24 April).
