Exhibition - 50 Years of the Theatre La Contrada

Description

Teatro La Contrada is celebrating its half-century and marking this significant milestone with an unmissable exhibition at the Carlo Schmidl Theatre Museum.
The exhibition, curated by Mario Bobbio and Andrea Stanisci, is organised into thematic sections that trace the history of La Contrada: from its origins in children’s theatre and the promotion of dialectal heritage, to its establishment as a national production centre. The exhibition documents its prestigious collaborations with renowned performers and its openness to contemporary forms of expression through its Artist-in-Residence programmes. The exhibition is enhanced by LED walls and interactive totems that provide access to a vast digital archive comprising over 500 productions and 1,500 multimedia documents.

Free admission
