I Mellow Mood portano la reggae music dalla Giamaica all’Italia, e dall’Italia al mondo intero. La band italiana si è formata nel 2005. Guidata dai gemelli Jacopo e Lorenzo Garzia, ha ottenuto riconoscimento internazionale dal debutto ufficiale nel 2009, grazie alle loro acclamate performance dal vivo e alla forte presenza sul web. Alcuni dei loro brani, come Dance Inna Babylon, Inna Jamaica e Sound Of A War, hanno totalizzato decine di milioni di visualizzazioni su YouTube.
Negli ultimi 20 anni, i Mellow Mood si sono esibiti in alcuni dei festival musicali più importanti del mondo, tra cui Rototom Sunsplash (Spagna), Eurockéennes (Francia), California Roots (USA) e Jamming Festival (Colombia).
Dal 2015 gestiscono l’etichetta indipendente La Tempesta Dub insieme al produttore italiano Paolo Baldini.
Hanno collaborato con numerosi artisti internazionali, tra cui Anthony B, Kabaka Pyramid, Konshens, Tanya Stephens, Jah9, Hempress Sativa, Richie Campbell, Sr. Wilson e molti altri.
Finora hanno pubblicato sei album, numerosi singoli e versioni dub dei loro dischi.
7 è il loro sesto album uscito ad aprile 2025, e seguito da un nuovo tour.
Vitowar è Il padrino del reggae in Italia. DJ e voce storica di Reggae Radio Station su Radio Popolare dal 1988. Da oltre trent’anni fa vibrare il paese con bassline, riddim e good vibes.
Fondatore di Trieste In Levare, Kwalaman è un selecter innamorato delle sonorità ska, reggae, dancehall, dub.
