Le allegre mogli, o spose, come sarebbe più corretto tradurre dall'inglese “The Merry Wives”, nell'immaginario collettivo sono da sempre le “Comari” di Shakespeare. Ma non sono donne pettegole o leggere, tutt'altro, sono invece donne per bene, oneste e sincere che, provocate, decidono di divertirsi alle spalle di chi pensa a sua volta di approfittare di loro.
