Primo quadro della Trilogia del tempo sospeso, Secondo Matteo è ispirato alla Passione secondo Matteo di Johann Sebastian Bach e suggerisce una connessione con le emozioni più intense che la partitura musicale riesce a trasmettere.
La Passione diventa un racconto intimo e personale in una dimensione quotidiana. Questa visione della Passione suggerisce che il tragico non è straordinario, ma abita la nostra normalità. Attraverso il corpo e il movimento emerge un’inquietudine sottile, quasi impercettibile, che attraversa un’esistenza solo in apparenza stabile. Secondo Matteo è il momento in cui la frattura si annuncia: non come esplosione, ma come lento slittamento, come consapevolezza che nulla è davvero al sicuro.
