Un grande concerto per festeggiare l’arrivo del Natale in un’atmosfera solenne e festosa. L’ouverture dell’opera “Hänsel e Gretel” di Humperdinck introduce l’atmosfera fiabesca che trova il suo naturale sviluppo nello “Schiaccianoci” di Tchaikovsky, favola natalizia per eccellenza con alcuni dei più celebri brani della tradizione classica. Assieme al Coro del Friuli Venezia Giulia, i Chichester Psalms di Leonard Bernstein, uno dei capolavori della musica sacra del Novecento, ricchi di suggestioni ritmiche e affascinanti combinazioni timbriche per un esito di maestosa solennità.
