Il trombettista e compositore Goran Kajfeš ha riunito alcuni dei migliori musicisti della scena svedese nel progetto Subtropic Arkestra: un collettivo travolgente che negli ultimi anni ha conquistato pubblico e critica grazie a concerti dall’energia incontenibile, capaci di avanzare come un treno in corsa senza freni. Con uno sguardo aperto sul mondo, Subtropic Arkestra intreccia suggestioni provenienti dalla Turchia, dalla Nigeria e dal Brasile con l’eredità del rock sperimentale svedese degli anni Settanta. Influenzata dal post-rock, dall’elettronica e dal jazz cosmico di Sun Ra, la formazione dà vita a un’esperienza musicale intensa, visionaria ed elettrizzante.
