La Fortezza Rocca di Monfalcone si erge sulla sommità del colle, con una storia che risale all’epoca teodoriciana. Fortificata poi dai patriarchi di Aquileia nel Medioevo, divenne il "guardiano della Patria del Friuli" sotto il dominio della Serenissima Venezia. Oggi ospita un museo speleologico e paleontologico, e dalla sua cima si può godere di un panorama straordinario tra mare e montagna.Le visite guidate gratuite sono sempre disponibili: basta rivolgersi allo staff all’ingresso.Gli orari di visita di sabato 4 ottobre saranno dalle ore 15:00 alle ore 18:00, mentre quelli di domeica 5 ottebre saranno dalle 10:00 alle 12:00 e dalle 14:00alle18:00.Per maggiori informazioni contrattare booking@comune.monfalcone.go.it.
