Sabato 6 e domenica 7 settembre 2025 arriva per la prima volta a Trieste la "Bike Night", pedalata di 100 km in notturna lungo la ciclovia Parenzana l’ex ferrovia che un tempo collegava Trieste a Parenzo in Croazia.
Partenza dal porto di Trieste, lungo le Rive, poi lungo la ciclovia attraversando la Slovenia e l'Istria, fino all'arrivo a Parenzo.
Bike Night è un evento che unisce la bici, la passione e le persone. Un sogno che inizia a mezzanotte partendo tutti insieme dalla città, pedalando per ciclovie lungo la notte inseguendo la luce dell’alba al mattino.
Il percorso presenta lunghi tratti in costante salita, dalla pendenza morbida ma prolungata. Nella parte in Croazia, è sempre sterrata, in alcuni tratti talvolta in leggera discesa presenta anche sassi: prestare la massima attenzione.La Bike Night Parenzana presenta quindi difficoltà tecniche (sterrato con sassi) e altimetriche: è una Bike Night più tosta delle altre, non meno appassionante, ma è indispensabile un buon livello di allenamento e soprattutto partecipare con una MTB o una gravel con ruote adeguate.
