Dopo il grande successo dell’edizione del Cinquantesimo e il riconoscimento come “the largest sailing race in the world” da parte del Guinness dei primati, Barcolana aggiunge un “+7” all’edizione 50, che punta a parlare di mare e ambiente, e a riunire tutti gli appassionati di vela a Trieste, la città che diventa capitale internazionale della vela. Il via alla regata di Barcolana 57 sarà dato alle ore 10,30 domenica 12 ottobre, al culmine di una 9 giorni di eventi e celebrazioni. Il percorso della Barcolana55 presented by Generali prevede un quadrilatero a vertici fissi posizionato nel Golfo di Trieste, della lunghezza totale di 13 miglia nautiche.
La partenza è fissata alle ore 10.30 e la linea è posizionata tra Barcola e Miramare; Dal 3 ottobre un ricco calendario di appuntamenti trasformerà Trieste in un palcoscenico che ospiterà un vero e proprio Festival del mare.
