Museum visit
An inspiring journey through science and technology: guided by a facilitator, guests explore some of the most fascinating scientific phenomena, their most innovative applications, and the institutions that make up Trieste’s scientific ecosystem.

Tinkering workshops
Tinkering is all about designing and building working prototypes using recycled materials, simple tools and accessible technologies. Through hands-on activities, collaboration and problem solving, it encourages creativity, teamwork and communication in an informal and stimulating environment. Options include Coding with Micro:Bit and LEGO® Automata.

Crime scene investigation: DNA fingerprinting workshop
Films and TV series have made genetic analysis seem familiar: but how realistic is it? In this workshop, participants simulate a forensic investigation to identify which suspect has DNA matching the sample found at the crime scene, while gaining insight into the real potential of this technique.
