I am Giorgio Venturini. I am from Trieste, and I have always been fascinated by the recent history of our region, especially that of the Karst area and the Collio, both regarding the First World War and the most recent Cold War. As I always say, one does not exist without the other, and their almost 100-year-long traces still mark these areas of ours and must be told.
