Explore Lake Sauris and enjoy a unique experience

In the dialect of Sauris, “Dume dume ame zahrar zea” means “all around the lake” and it is the slogan chosen to describe the many opportunities that can be found this summer in Sauris.

In recent days, they have begun new sailing activities in the locality of La Maina, just after the last tunnel, where we can get a full view of the lake and its wonderful turquoise water, which invites you to stop and enjoy this beautiful and charming panorama.

The Municipality of Sauris, along with the Municipality of Ampezzo and the renowned Albergo Diffuso of Sauris, have organised new activities on the lake, which are ideal for those who love outdoor life and sport, and for families and children. In addition to relaxation and quiet, you can discover Lake Sauris from a new perspective: with Canadian canoes, kayaks, SUPs, as well as skating and sailing.

We are located at 977 metres above sea level and the climate in summer is ideal for enjoying the lake and exploring all its corners, also with specialised nature guides  and on social channels.


 Let's not forget, however, that in Sauris we can stimulate all the senses and therefore taste its renowned beer and delicious smoked ham.
